The laboratory equipment of Department of Internet Technologies and Application (Z-3) enables the implementation of various scenarios. Among others, it includes:
- devices for SDN networks, including switches with hardware support for SDN/OpenFlow, "bare metal" switches and servers with DPDK (Data Plane Development Kit) supported high end network interfaces;
- variety of devices for virtualization of services and network functions,
- network testers/analyzers with a wide range of specialized applications for the measurement and emulation of services in packet networks,
- devices for implementing various scenarios of the Internet of Things, including microcomputers, sensors, actuators, communication modules for WPAN networks, etc.
Part of the laboratory was developed as the result of the PL-LAB 2020 project.
